Text neck syndrome is a term recently coined to describe the epidemic we face in this day and age with the growing use of cellphones and the concurrent incidence of neck pain.
Due to the nature of cellphone use of having our neck bent forward for prolonged periods of time, we can develop neck pains caused by the overuse of the cervical extensor muscles. This, if left untreated, can further lead to upper back and even lower back pain.
